Susie Berlin has nearly 20 years of experience representing public agencies and private sector clients in a wide variety of transactional, litigation, and regulatory matters. She provides legal advice to public agency councils, boards, and advisory committees. 

 

Ms. Berlin has considerable experience in representing the interests of clients before the California Public Utilities Commission, the California Energy Commission, the California Air Resources Board, and other regulatory bodies, both in the development of relevant regulations implementing statutory requirements and in matters regarding compliance, including those implementing renewable energy standard and greenhouse gas reduction mandates.  

 

Ms. Berlin also has experience working on collaborative efforts with major engineering, financial and energy consulting firms throughout the state in providing a team approach to complex energy issues, and has provided legal support for various feasibility studies commissioned by public agencies, and has worked on development of a wide variety of energy projects, including renewable resource projects.
